Attire & Facility Rules

  • For swim: wear a bathing suit. Goggles are optional.
  • For gymnastics: adults, little ones and boys should wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in.
  • For girls at the beginner level and higher, wear a leotard to class. They can wear shorts and/or a t-shirt over their leotard. No bare midriffs.
  • Long hair should be tied up off the shoulders (two side ponytails are most comfortable when doing rolls).
  • Bare feet are required.
  • No buckles or zippers.
  • We require all babies to wear a Happy Nappy brand swim diaper until they have been fully potty trained for a year.
  • Babies who are not properly diapered will not be allowed in the pool.
  • These can be purchased in our office or on the Splash About website.
  • No. Masks are not required in our facility.
  • For swim: Bring a towel, goggles are optional. Parents will keep belongings with them while their child is in class.
  • For gymnastics: If parents are not staying in the building to keep belongings, gymnasts may bring a water bottle and their clothes in a small bag onto the gym floor. The instructor will indicate where they should put their things during class.
  • Always check in with the lobby greeter before class. This is how we keep up with your attendance and whether you are eligible for make-up classes.
  • For swim: Meet your child in the changing room to the right of the pool. Dry them off there before entering the lobby area.
  • For gymnastics: It is best to wait at the gate closest to your child’s class at the time they let out. This allows the instructor to lay eyes on you so that all students are safely accounted for. If you are running late, your child will be waiting at the lobby greeter stand while they watch for you to arrive.
  • For swim: Please stay and watch your child through the window.
  • For gymnastics: If your child is under five years old, please watch from upstairs in the balcony. Children sometimes need to use the restroom and we may need you to help. Students pay attention to their coaches best when you watch from a distance.
  • For children capable of going to the bathroom independently, you may leave the premises during your child’s class. Please arrive on time to pick your child up by walking in or driving up to the front door where they can see you from inside the building.
