The Area’s Premier Girl’s Team

Salem boasts the area’s premiere girl’s team, with girls competing statewide and through the National Level. Over the years, Salem has gained respect as one of the top teams in the nation. Our athletes have taken gold at Nationals 14 times and have represented the USA on National and International Teams. Many of our athletes have continued gymnastics on college scholarships – see our Wall of Fame!

Girl’s Gymnastics Level Progressions

 The progressions for Salem girls are:
    • Beginner Girls -> Red Team
    • Red Team -> Blue Team
    • Blue Team -> USAG Xcel Bronze
    • USAG Xcel Bronze -> USAG Xcel Silver
    • USAG Xcel Silver -> USAG Xcel Gold or USAG Level 4+

* These Levels train 12 months/year.  Practice is mandatory.

We learn the skills and routines for the upcoming levels during the summer, so be sure to make as many practices as you can this June, July and August.  If you are unable to train this summer please check back with us in August to be re-evaluated, as your daughter’s skill level may have changed during her time off.
